What is the maximum number of applications or users supported by VAAKYA APP Server?
Vaakya APP Server is a Concurrent User License based product. You can install any number of projects and add any number of end users.
However, the number of APP Client or User connections to the APP Server is dependent on the Concurrent User license you have purchased.
Can I use the same APP Server on multiple machines?
You cannot install and run the same APPSERVER on another computer. Vaakya APP Server is a product licensed for deployment on a single computer.
Can I install the same or another APPSA on my machine once again (in the same drive or different drive)?
You cannot install the same or another APP Server on the same machine again, in the same drive or different drive. If you try to install, the installer will verify the system and overwrite the existing VAAKYA APP Server program. In such a case, you may lose your applications and data.
Vaakya does not allow multiple instances of a product in one machine (For example: you can have only one DEVO Desktop or APP SA or DEVO Server or DEVO Client within a VAAKYA folder)
Vaakya APP Server supports multiple applications and end users in a concurrent, collaborative team model. Hence there is no need to have more than one instance of an APP Server in a machine.
What are the hardware resource requirements to run Vaakya APP Server?
Vaakya is very small in size, designed for efficient memory management and very high performance. Hence, you do not have to invest in any large hardware servers to run Vaakya APP Server. A normal PC or maximum an entry level hardware server is sufficient to execute Vaakya.
However, if the number of Client connections or number of applications being accessed in a collaborative use exceeds more than 100 Concurrent Users, a higher grade hardware Server may provide better performance.
