Register Application

Can I Register an Application Name different from Project Name in the IDE?
No. Registered Application Name and Project Name of your IDE should be same

Upload Application

Can I Upload a (.vuf) with file size more than 6 mb?
The Maximum file size of (.vuf) should not exceed 6mb. Reduce the images in your html pages to keep with the limits of file size.
Can I Upload any other file apart from (.vuf) file?
If you try to Upload any other file format other than a valid (.vuf) file, the portal server will not launch the application.

Start Application

Message “Application Started Successfully” is displayed when I Start an application. However I cannot access the application by clicking on the application URL link?
Please verify below steps:

  • Have you uploaded the correct (projectname.vuf) file against the Registered application name
  • Check if you have the CORPUS_APPNAME folder inside the STATIC folder of your project
  • Check if you have the “index.html” page inside the CORPUS_APPNAME folder of your STATIC folder
  • Check if the CSS and Image files are placed correctly inside the CORPUS_APPNAME of your STATIC folder
Error: "Page not found" message is displayed on trying to access the application?
The Portal Server for your application has not launched properly. Please check the Log file of your application by clicking VIEW LOG
I am able to see the STATIC pages of my application, however I am unable to login or access my DYNAMIC pages or data
  • The Portal Server for your application has not launched properly. Please check the Log file of your application by clicking VIEW LOG
  • Html pages have not been properly placed inside the DYNAMIC folder of your project. Please verify the same and try again
